How to draw an ellipse

Mark a point M on diameter [AB]. Draw the line perpendicular to [AB] passing by point M. This line cuts the circle in two points P and R. Place points in the middles of segments [MP] and [MR]. Do it again and again with various points M placed regularly on the diameter. All together, the points situated in the various middles form an ellipse that you can now draw.
