Frauds The relation between norms, institutions and economic development has emerged as an important research field for both historians and economists. The workshop tackles this issue with regard to the increasing regulation of Mediterranean trade in the age of mercantilism and from the perspective of those widespread illegal practices performed by social actors who aimed to bypass it.
