Au Tchad, la filière karité n’a

Le nombre de pieds adultes et les régénérations par unité de placette sont inventoriés. Les coordonnées géographiques des placettes ont permis de cartographier les densités moyennes des arbres à karité par région puis sont projetées sur un fond
isohyètes du Tchad. Le potentiel karité au Tchad est estimé à 92 683
dans les 7 régions. Ce potentiel, produirait 556 000 tonnes d’amandes par an.
