Suggested Environmental Practices

The UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) estimates the need for a 45% reduction of CO

2

emissions by 2030 in order to contain the increase in the global mean temperature within 1.5 °C by 2100. This ambitious global challenge imposes radical changes to our society and private

habits. We believe that public research institutions must play an exemplar leading role in the transition to a sustainable future, and contributions are needed at all levels.

Here are some practical suggestions to improve the sustainability of your daily professional activity.

Reduce travels, opt for video conferencing whenever possible Avoid flights to France and Europe:
