Message from the KDML Chairs

The KDML 2019 workshop took place as part of the LWDA 2019 conference held on September 30 - October 2, 2019, in Berlin, Germany.

KDML received 26 submissions of original research work. Of these works, 19 were accepted for inclusion in the proceedings, 7 as long papers and 12 as short ones. The remaining submissions were accommodated as posters to be presented during a poster session. Next to the original research contributions, KDML also solicited already published papers and received 12 high-end published works. The final programme is very rich, encompassing the long and short presentations of the accepted original contributions and published works, as well as the 7 posters. We are indebted to the KDML reviewers for their engagement and prompt evaluation of the submissions.

We would like to thank the leaders of the FG-KDML for entrusting us to organize the FG-KDML track and for their advice and support.
