Robert BeU, Ph.D., is Principal of McGi11. Dr. Bell, a physicist, was tor-merty a Vice-Dean in the Faculty of Arts and Science and later Dean of
the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research.
Edward H. Bensley, M.D. (Toronto 1930), is a lecturer in the Department
of History of Medicine, McGiII University and a member of the Consulting Staff of The Montreal General Hospital. He was formerly Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, McGil1.
Donald A. Burgess has taught in England and was for five years Principal
of a high school in Jamaica,W.1. He is now Coordinator of Undergraduate
Diploma Programs in the McGill Faculty of Education.
Maurry H. Epstein is a doctoral candidate at George Peabody College for
Teachers, Nashville. He wrote his M.A. thesis at McGili on "Sir William
C. Macdonald: Benefactor to Education,"
C, Hawkins, former President of APEUQ-AQUEP, is Associate Professor in the McGiII Faculty of Education.
0.0. Hebb, once a high school teacher and later an elementary school
principal, is now a professor of psychology at McGill University.
J.O. Jefferis, Ph.D., who recently retired as Head of the Department of Education at Bishop's University, Lennoxville, was a member of the Pro-testant Central Board of Examiners.
Stephen Leacock, 1869-1944, renowned McGiII teacher and writer.
David C. MUlVoe, now Special Advisor in the Department of the secre-tary of State, Ottawa, was formerly Macdonald Professor of Education and Director of teacher education at McGill.
Donna Ronish, B.Ed., McGiII, is currently doing research for her M.A. on
women's education at McGiII in the nineteenth century.
Frank Scott, an eminent authority on constitutional law, as weil as a
re-spected editor, satirist and poet. was a member of McGiII's Faculty of
Law 1928-1968 and is now associated with the French-Canada Studies
Program.
Pierre Elliott Trudeau, former professor at the University of Montreal, is
Prime Minister of Canada.
Louis-Albert Vachon, P.A., V.G., is Rector of Laval University. Msgr.
Vachon has had a distinguished academie career and is the author of many publications relating to the nature of the university.
Paddy Webb is Assistant Professor in the McGiII Faculty of Education. Her book of poerns, Between Two rires, will be published shortly by Delta Press.
