1 am an angry woman

1 have the power of an earthquake The gentle touch of a butterjly 1 can will the mountains to my side

1 can get the squirrel to eat from my [ingers lnside it boils

the rage and anger of being invisible 1t seeps and slowly every now and again

il leaps out in bits

And 1 am an angry woman No feasible outlet is allowed me save that whicli 1 take myself And that whicli 1 take is ever mine, unrelinquishable No one can pusli me back into the swirling haze of patriarchy, where every woman is not a person 1 am an angry woman lime is running out sisters we are ail angry women
