Change + 1.5 %. For the first half of its 2006/07 fiscal year (July to December 2006), Aedian reports group revenues of €19.54m, up 1.5% year-on-year on a comparable structure basis. The half-year ending on 31 December 2006 saw a continuation of the trend of improving profitability that began in the previous half-year. Growth and improving profitability in IT services The IT Services division (Aedian SI) accounted for 67% of the company's total revenues in the first half of 2006/07. The division's revenues showed organic growth of 6% compared to the first half of the previous year. This will have a material impact on the subsidiary's operating margin. Aedian SI again benefited from its positioning as a specialist focused on services to the financial industry in the project supplier segment – contracts with a performance guarantee represented 56% of the subsidiary's revenues. The Consulting division stabilised its headcount and returned to profitability Consultancy (Aedian Consulting) accounted for 33% of total group revenues in the first half of 2006/07. Compared to the first half of the previous year, revenues were down by 10% against a backdrop of improving performance metrics at the subsidiary: - The number of consultants was unchanged during the half-year, putting an end to the decline seen in the previous half-years; - The inter-contract downtime diminished sharply; - Selling prices rose further. As a result of these developments, Aedian Consulting's target of returning to breakeven at the operating level will be reached during the first half of 2006/07 (versus a 2% loss in the first half of the previous fiscal year). Outlook and post-closing event The company has thus strengthened the outlook for a stronger operating margin before exceptional items: it will exceed 2.5% in the first half of 2006/07 (vs. 1.6% in the first half of the previous year) and top 4% in fiscal 2006/07 (vs. 2.2% in 2005/06). After the closing of the half-year accounts, Aedian became aware of a first instance judgment, which it has not yet officially been notified of, in which the Paris Commercial Court sentenced it to pay €1.9m as additional consideration. The Court has ordered provisional execution,. WorldReginfo - 1ae7295a-4dd2-43b7-869d-92477fa3cfb9.
