Universanté Conference « Questioning students’ health » Denis Theunynck Day
June the 1
st2017, Dunkirk (France)
Second Call for Papers (new deadline)
Since 2013, following the annual Universanté research, and in partnership with the Mutualité Française des Hauts de France, the URePSSS EA 7369 laboratory organizes a conference on students’
health.
This year, we identified two main themes for the communications (oral and poster):
Self-overcoming, doping and health: physical and intellectual doping and its consequences (10 min +3 min) ;
Students’ health problems: sleeping disorders, eating disorders, addictions, depressive disorders… (10 min +3 min).
We will also highlight the work of undergraduate and master's students, concerning the area of students’ health, through the “Denis Theunynck prize”.
In the afternoon there will be two parallel round tables, with the involvement of local actors (researchers, preventive medicine, representatives of university sports centres, associations, etc.).
The themes identified for the round tables are:
The role of sports in the universities: what benefits for the students’ well-being and success?
The need for an interdisciplinary approach in the framework of studies and interventions on health and physical activity.
Proposals:
Should be sent in French or English to alessandro.porrovecchio@gmail.com before Mai the 1st 2017, basing on the attached model.
The proposals will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to modify the type of communication initially proposed (oral or poster).
