Feedback-based resource allocation for Serverless Computing

Yu-An Chen, ISI

Abstract

We propose a feedback-based control framework that efficiently allocates resources for serverless functions while maintaining applications’ timing requirement.

The framework uses a hierarchical approach for func- tion chains deployment. The goal of the project is to provide app developers a framework to satisfy appli- cation’s timing requirements and achieve efficient re- source usage with ease.
