FRENCH CLASSES
FACULTY
• The teachers in charge of the French Summer School are all academics and/or specialists of French as a Foreign Language.
CURRICULUM
• Oral practice: pronunciation & expression • Written practice: grammar & syntax
• Lectures on themes related to New Caledonia • Creative writing
ASSESSMENT
At the end of the training program, the students’ levels in all four compulsory courses will be assessed. All students will receive an assessment report from the UNC, a transcript mentioning the number of ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) credits obtained and a certificate stating their level in French. Students will also have the opportunity to take the TCF test (Test de Connaissance du Français), the official French language certification valid for two years (additional cost).

STUDENT COMMITMENT
• Attendance at classes, lectures and cultural tours is compulsory • The students commit themselves to following all compulsory
activities and respecting the UNC’s code of conduct
DISCIPLINE
• The UNC reserves the right to expel any student who does not respect her/his commitment
