SABMILLER PLC FINAL DIVIDEND CURRENCY CONVERSION - SOUTH AFRICAN RANDS. 27 June 2008. In its Preliminary Results announcement for the year ended 31 March 2008, published on Thursday, 15 May 2008, SABMiller plc announced that the exchange rates to be used to determine the Sterling and Rand equivalent of the final dividend of 42 US cents per share would be calculated using the exchange rate prevailing on Thursday, 26 equivalent. The rate of exchange determined on Thursday, 26 June 2008 is $:R = 7.9531786, resulting in an equivalent final dividend of 334.0335012 SA cents per share. The dividend will be payable on Thursday, 7 August 2008 to all shareholders registered on the London and Johannesburg registers on Friday, 11 July 2008. The ex-dividend trading dates will be Wednesday, 9 July 2008 on the London Stock Exchange and Monday, 7 July 2008 on the JSE Limited.
