Disneyland

Disneyland is a fun place to go because there's lots of rides to go on and games to play.
There are two parks, Disneyland and California Adventure. In Disneyland, there is a Toon Town, which is a town full of Mikey Mouse's friends. There is an awesome roller coaster called “California Screamin'”. If you like fast rides, you would love this one. ~Marie

I love Irvine Spectrum because it has a ferris wheel, a skating rink and a pond. It also has lots of people. ~Elijah

My mom always takes us to the Castle Park after school.
It is a park close to our house. There is a big castle in the park.

Irvine Lanes (Irvine, California)
Irvine Lanes is a fun place to go because it is a bowling alley. When you bowl, the bowling ball automatically comes back to you, so you don't have to get a new ball each time. To bowl, you need to put your fingers into the ball, put the ball behind you, run down toward the lane, swing the ball, and let go. The ball rolls down the lane and knocks over pins. The goal of bowling is to knock down as many pins as you can. For each pin you knock down you get one point. The person with the most points wins! A strike is when you knock down all the pins with your first ball. A spare is when you knock down all the pins with two balls. A split is when you after you use two balls, you still have one pin left standing. When we were there, they had cheese pizza that you could buy. I went there with my baseball team and we had a great time. ~Evan

Irvine Outdoor Education Center (Irvine, California)
The Irvine Outdoor Education Center is an excellent place to camp. It has a water pump, fire, and good sites. Once when I went there, we zip-lined, panned for gold, and took a hike up a mountain.
My favorite part was zip-lining. We also got to do B.B. Gun shooting and archery. I went there with my friend Hannah and we had a great time!

Irvine Regional Park (Orange, California)
Irvine Regional Park is a huge park which is good for all ages. It has train rides, pony rides, a mini zoo and a lake. You can hike or ride a bike in the park. The zoo inside the park has many animals. There are bears and mountain lions. I like porcupines the most. Sometimes, you can see pretty peacocks walking in the park.
There are many picnic tables outside of the zoo which you can bring your food and picnic in the park. ~Sabrina

Tree Tour (Tustin, California)
You can find many different types of palm trees in Tustin. These trees were brought and planted from different parts of the world in early 1900. Queen Palms are tall and straight.
This type of palms were originated from Brazil.
California Fan Palms are native to California.
Mexican Fan Palms were brought from Mexico.
They look like California Palms but much taller and skinnier. Fan Palm's leaves look like fans, that's why they are called Fan Palms. ~CK

Meggi Mee
My favorite food is Meggi Mee. IF you have never heard of it, it's a Malaysian noodle. You can cook it or boil it in water. You also can put any siding with it such as veggies: cucumber, cabbage, tomatoes or beans. That is my favorite food. ~Marie

Togo's
I love to go to Togo's because their sandwiches are stuffed with meat. My favorite sandwich is on sourdough bread with ham, lettuce and swiss cheese. There are many type of meats and breads besides my personal favorites thought. At Togo's, there also is a variety of drinks to choose from. They vary from sprite and Lemonade to Coke and water. Also, there is a wide variety of chips to choose from, like Frito's and Lay's to Mrs. Vicies Chips. ~Katrina

California Rolls
If you ever visit California, you have to try the California Rolls. California Roll is the most popular sushi in California.
Different from other sushi rolls which are wrapped by seaweeds, California rolls are made inside out – rice is wrapped outside of the seaweed. The other ingredients of California roll are crab meat, avocado, and cucumber. Sometime the chief will also sprinkle orange color fish eggs on the California rolls. ~Susie

S'more
The best food at a camping trip is S'more. We normally roast marshmallows and make s'more with the barn fire during the night.
This is how to make a very good s'more. First you put a marshmallow on a long stick and roast it with the barn fire. You have to watch it carefully because it is so easy to over burn the marshmallow. When the marshmallow turns brown, you put it together with a piece of chocolate and sandwich them between two pieces of graham crackers. ~Linda
