             3            122              ONE WAY ANOVA       Sheffe Test  .                                 ABSTRACT :  

The study aimed to find out the importance of exercise of critical thinking skills at the Institute of Physical Education and Sports in Sidi Abdullah University of Algiers 3, the research used The Critical Thinking questionnaire for professors, where the study sample consisted of all teachers in the Institute;The number of teachers is (122)professor.

We use the mean and standard deviation, t  test, (ONE WAY ANOVA) and (Scheffe’sTest). The results of the study showed there is no significant differences were found due to the importance of critical thinking skills and the academic rank (lecturer, assistant professor), Furthermore the study showed a significant differences were found due to the variable years professional experience and practice of the critical thinking skills.

Results were discussed in the light of relevant literature and previous studies.Several proposals had been presented.
