EB49.R28 Amendments to the Financial Regulations : Standardization of the financial regulations govern- ing external audit

The Executive Board,

Having considered the report of the Director-General on standardized financial regulations relating to external audit, as approved by the Administrative Committee on Co-ordination,

RECOMMENDS to the Twenty-fifth World Health Assembly the adoption of the following resolution :

“ The Twenty-fifth World Health Assembly,

“ Considering it desirable that the financial regulations of the World Health Organization relating to external audit should conform to those of the United Nations and the other organizations of the United Nations system, except for such divergences as are necessary to meet the Organization's consti- tutional provisions,

“ ADOPTS the amendments to Article XII of the Financial Regulations of the World Health Organi- zation as proposed by the Director-General and recommended by the Executive Board."
