Report on the preliminary ring inspection of five olive tree samples from Santorini

Methodology
The sanded and polished stem discs have been studied under a stereo microscope. The wood anatomical nature of the rings has been judged and evaluated as distinct, partially distinct or indistinct. The ring borders have been marked by a pencil and numbered from pith to bark. Some zones of ring wedging and possible very small rings have been indicated on the discs.
