Social Sciences Library, UAB Study Room
Location and hours
The UAB Study Room is located on the two underground floors of the Social Sciences Library and it opens 24 h a day (except for special restricted opening hours) because these spaces are turned into study room at nights, holidays and weekends.

Access
During nights (9 pm to 8.30 am), weekends and special restricted hours, you have to show the valid UAB ID card.
If you are a UAB student but you do not have the university ID card yet, you can access with the university registration and a valid ID card.

You can consult the Social Sciences Library collection of the floor 0 in the UAB Study Room. You must take the material you need to the lending desk of the Library floor 0 and fill in a specific form.

Work rooms for groups
The Library has 5 work rooms for groups on the floor -2. All of these work rooms can be borrowed. The hours to borrow them are from 9 am to 8.40 pm the working days.
You need the UAB card to borrow work rooms

The rules for using the Social Sciences Library work rooms are regulated by the General conditions for using and borrowing work rooms for groups and the UAB Library Rules.
Other considerations about work rooms borrowing and booking service
You can borrow these work rooms from 9 am to 8.40 pm working days. Nights, holidays and weekends they are open.
The work rooms will be opened in exams periods, like the rest of the UAB Study Room, to make full use of them.
