Le soussigné a reçu une convocation à la dite assemblée ainsi que la liste des candidats. Lui et son procureur sont membres en règle de la Société historique du Canada.

Mode de votation. Avant l’assemblée, on vous distribuera un bulletin de vote. Vous pourrez y ajouter les noms des personnes mises en candidature au cours de la réunion et pour lesquelles vous désirez voter. On voudra bien prendre note que, pour être valide, toute candidature présentée pendant l’assemblée devra être accompagnée d’une lettre d’acceptation du candidat. Au terme de la période des mises en candidature, vous devrez compléter votre bulletin de vote et le déposer dans l’urne, sous la surveillance du directeur du scrutin ou de l’un des scrutateurs.
Voting procedure Ballots will be distributed at the beginning of the meeting. A sufficient number of blank Unes will be left to permit the writing in of names nominated from the floor, if any; it will only be necessary to write the names of those for whom you wish to vote. Nominations from the floor must be accompanied by a statement signed by the person so nominated that he or she will serve if elected. When nominations hâve closed, the ballots will be deposited in the ballot-box under the eyes of the appointed returning officer or one of the scrutineers.
