on Environmental Geochemistry and Health

The 29th Conference on Environmental Geochemistry and Health took place in Toulouse (France) from 8 to 12 July 2013. It gathered 160 delegates from 35 countries around regular topics (Biogeochemistry and Health, Biogeochemistry and Ecotoxicology, Spatial and Temporal Records of Pollution including Catch-ment Studies), as well as special Sessions (Frontiers in Mercury Biogeochemistry, Bioaccessibility of Pollu-tants in Soils and Vegetables, Arsenic: Current Issues
of Speciation, Environmental Behaviour and Human Health Impacts).
This special issue represents a selected collection of studies presented during the conference. It covers a wide range of disciplines and approaches applied to the environmental and health impacts of contaminants. On behalf of the Society for Environmental Geochem-istry and Health, we would like to thank all the authors and reviewers who contributed to this special volume issue.
