THE FORGOTTEN MAJORITY: RURAL LIFE IN CANADIAN HISTORY

The University of Victoria is planning to host a conférence on rural society in Canada during February, 1983. Proposais for papers on such topics as land settlement, technological change, family life, social life, farm économies,

marketing, the agrarian press, university extension, rural éducation and reform movements would be welcomed.
