Résumé du PFE : sous titre : Etude bibliographique de la leptospirose

équine

Résumé :

La leptospirose est une maladie infectieuse, due à des bactéries du genre leptospira, capables d'infecter l'homme et de nombreuses espèces animales domestiques et sauvages. L'infection leptospirosique d'un cheval peut entraîner des atteintes spécifiques ou pas : nous citons les avortements, les atteintes rénales, et oculaires. Le seul moyen de lutte est donc la prophylaxie sanitaire qui peut intervenir à trois niveaux : la lutte contre les réservoirs, l'assainissement de l'environnement et enfin l'isolement des malades.

Abstract:

Leptospirosis is an infectious disease caused by bacteria of the genus Leptospira, able to infect humans and many domestic and wild animal species. the horse has been an imperfect form a reservoir for Leptospira. Although this hypothesis is unproven, it seems to be accepted by the scientific world. The leptospirosique infection of a horse can cause enough damage to specific organs such as abortion, renal or ocular involvement. The only way to fight is the medical prophylaxis which may occur at three levels: the fight against tanks, environmental remediation and finally the isolation of patients
